The newly renovated Crab “Pickin’ Room” is now available for private parties for up to 50 guests.
For over 3 decades, our founder Roy Todd ran a blue crab processing operation in this room. Upon his retirement, we have decided to pay homage to our crab-picking heritage by renovating and opening this room to you, our guests.
The room features our original stainless steel pickin’ tables that have been custom shaped by an Ocean Odyssey alumni crewmember who now works in her family welding business.
We salvaged multiple pieces from our original Crocheron, Maryland crab factory dating back to 1947. We’ve worked them into the design as a tribute to the tradition of crab picking houses located along the Eastern Shore.
We’ve built a custom bar complete with 10 rotating craft beer taps, fun cocktails & wines. For your viewing pleasure, we have added three 50 inch high-definition televisions. An artistically talented crew member graciously lent her talent to hand paint an 8-foot oyster mural and Roy even installed a crab pickin’ hand wash station to boot. We hope you enjoy this room as much as we do!

“We had a corporate event at Ocean Odyssey and they were top-notch across the board. Travis reached out multiple times prior to the event to go over menu options and make sure everything was settled. When we arrived, they were quick to get us where we needed to be, had the bar ready, and served the pre-set menu. The food and environment were great and I would definitely recommend!”
