GROWLERS – We here at Ocean Odyssey introduced legislation to the state in order to allow Dorchester County restaurants the ability to sell and re-fill growlers of fresh draft beer to go. We testified, it passed, and went into effect on June 1, 2013. You can now enjoy your favorite beer of the week comfortably at home.
You can purchase an Ocean Odyssey Growler for $5 and fill it up whenever you please.
Miller Lite, Coors Light, Bud Light, Budweister $4
WE WILL BE HAVING GROWLER FILL AND $1 OYSTER SPECIALS HAPPENING EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT EXCLUSIVELY OUTSIDE AT THE BEER GARDEN WINDOW. THEY WILL START AT 5PM.
Back in 2003 a salesman got me to order a case of Stone Brewing Oak Aged Arrogant Bastard, when it came in and I saw what it actually cost I panicked and had to sell half of them to my buddies so I could afford to drink the rest, I caught the craft beer bug and have never looked back. Enjoy beer, don’t overthink it. Feel free to ask any questions as we are glad to help, but most are best answered by simply trying them and deciding for yourself what you like. Cheers!
Choptank Sweets – Cambridge, MD – Our go-to bivalve! These restorative oysters have been farmed locally since 1996. The flavor is nice and mild reflecting the brackish water from our Choptank river. We first met these guys drinking beer at a trade show about a decade ago and have been doing business with them ever since. They invited us to join along for features on the Food Network, the Cooking Channel and PBS for America’s Heartland and for that we are quite grateful.
Sewansecotts – Hog Island Bay, Eastern Shore VA – The Terry family has been farming oysters for over 100 years. Sewansecott oysters have a firm, meaty texture. The taste, beautifully balanced with an initial briny burst of flavor mellowing to a sweet, delicate, some say buttery finish.
